1956 Volkswagen Beetle Coupe
VERY CUTE LITTLE BLACK 1956 BEETLE WITH BLUE & WHITE INTERIOR. EARLY OVAL WINDOW, 1600CC AIR COOLED ENGINE, 4 SPEED, EXTENSIVE RESTORATION, CHOICE OF WHEELS CHROME OR ORIGINALS WITH HUB CAPS. This California born and raised Beetle has been the pride and joy of a few lucky owners. In 2006 the car was exported from California to the owner of a Wisconsin Body Shop where it was professionally restored as a gift to his wife. It was already a beautiful bug, but anything it needed it got. Jet black paint over a beautifully curved car with a great panel fit. The blue and white interior installed in 2006 still looks new with a black dash that was painted to perfection. The gauges are very nice and the odometer is showing less than 84200 miles according to the last three owners. A nice two hole stereo was added with 6X9 speakers that actually sound pretty good.The 1600cc engine was rebuilt at that time, which is linked up to a 4 speed manual transmission which shifts effortlessly. All parts used in the process were genuine VW parts. This little beetle is a pleasure to drive. The car is rolling on 4 very nice VW chrome aftermarket wheels. If you prefer the original look we have 5 new Goodyear tires on steel wheels with correct 1956 hub caps like the one pictured in the trunk area.
