Under the bulging L88 big block hood is a date code correct 1969 big block engine built to 427/425 hp, L88 specs, and teamed up with a Muncie M-21, 4-speed transmission. The power is controlled by 4-wheel power disc brakes and the engine is topped off by an L88 air cleaner. This car could have been an original big block car based on many big block options, like heavy duty big block suspension with a heavy duty sway bar and correct big block half shafts. Interior big block options include high performance 6500 redline tachometer, 70 psi oil gauge, and a new L-88 console plate. The bright blue interior shows like new with newly restored seats, including seat covers, foam and new belts. The dash has also been restored with a new dash pad and reconditioned gauges. The car has new door panels, carpet and a new white soft top. This L-88 inspired Stingray was owned by the previous owner for over 12 years. The title shows that at one time it was reconstructed with an assigned vin. The car shows no signs of previous damage, and we do not know the history of any accidents or theft before the prior owner completed the frame-off restoration.
