Show quality engine compartment showcasing the original numbers matching 455/360hp Stage 1 engine, with 510 ft.-lbs of torque, toped off with the correct Stage 1 air cleaner set up, shifted by a numbers matching heavy duty Turbo 400 automatic 3-speed transmission and backed by a numbers matching rear end with positraction and a 3.64 gear. Nicely optioned with power steering and power front disc brakes. This rare GS Stage 1 convertible is validated by its vin number, casting numbers and stamped sequential numbers throughout its drivetrain. The color correct, code-75 Fire Red paint was applied professionally and has a very deep shine. The Buick body is structurally beautiful with excellent lines and panel fitment. The chrome and stainless trim are in amazing condition with new bumpers front and back. The newer Pearl White bucket and console interior is beautiful and will keep you cool on those hot summer days. The original interior color was black. The center console with correct horseshoe shifter is very unique with chrome cover in great condition. The black dash is in exceptional condition with clear crisp instrumentation and the odometer showing only 5995 miles which is more than likely how many miles since restored and original Buick steering wheel is like new and crack free. The floors, frame and trunk have very solid intact metal structure.
