This rare SS Chevelle is one of only 889, SS396 convertibles built in 1970 and is documented by its original build sheet, numbers matching 396/350 engine, numbers matching TH400 automatic transmission and numbers matching 12 bolt positraction rear end with 3.73 gear. Equipped with the correct F41 heavy duty suspension that includes boxed control arms and sway bars. Optioned with power steering, power front disc brakes and upgraded Vintage air conditioning. The paint has a deep shine and covers a body with excellent metal structure and gaps. The chrome, emblems and stainless trim is all in excellent condition. The Ivory interior is beautiful and also has correct SS gauges, air conditioning, cushion grip steering wheel and AM-FM radio.
