Rare Lucerne blue metallic 1970 Pontiac Trans Am 400 4-speed, Loaded with PS, PB and AC. Recently acquired from a family estate. Pedigree car that has the PHS which documents it's a real TA. Very RARE!!  One of only 3,196 built and less than 1600 in this color combination.  This is an incredible car that has had an extensive restoration and looks like a new car on the bottom. CHECK OUT THE UNDERCARRIAGE. In 1970 you had two choices of colors, lucerne blue or polar white. Original color lucerne blue (code 26) was sprayed on over a very solid and straight body. All gaps line up like they should. Many years ago this drop dead gorgeous structurally beautiful car was stolen or in fender bender and has a prior salvage title.  We do not have any information as to why, but we see no signs of any previous damage, just an amazing car.  New parts include grills, park lamp lens, tail light lens and bezels. Also new front and back glass moldings, windshield, weather strips, door handles and locks. The classic TA stripes finish the car off perfectly. Inside the blue interior (code 211) looks as good as the outside. New seat covers (knitted vinyl), carpeting, door panels package tray and head liner only tells part of the parts installed inside. Options include power steering, power front disk brakes and complete air conditioning. There are tach and gauges, bucket seats, console, tilt steering column and lighted rear view mirror. Engine is a 1970 non numbers matching 400 (with manual transmission) that looks like Pontiac just installed it. Attention to detail was spent under the hood with the shaker air cleaner, chrome valve covers and correct components. Drive train consists of Muncie 4 speed transmission, 12 bolt rear axle with sway bar. Exhaust is running through original cast iron manifolds, factory style dual pipes with cross flow muffler and polished stainless tail pipes. Wheels are custom Rally !! 15X8 with BFG TA white lettered tires.
